We're looking for an Assistant Maintenance Manager to help lead maintenance operations within one of the world's largest distribution center networks. You'll work closely with technicians, site leadership, and clients to ensure equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency in a highly automated facility.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee maintenance activities, support technicians, manage work orders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. High performers have a clear path toward Senior Maintenance Manager and regional leadership opportunities

Note: This position supports a 24/7 operation and requires participation in on-call coverage as needed.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations and technician support
- Prioritize and assign work orders based on technician skillsets
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Conduct facility inspections and safety audits
- Lead shift handoffs and maintenance team communications
- Drive operational improvements and equipment reliability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
- Partner with site leadership and clients to support facility performance
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience
- 3+ years leading maintenance teams and programs
- Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution center environments
- Proven experience with safety compliance, audits, and protocols
- Ability to work flexible schedules and provide on-call support when needed
- Distribution center or highly automated facility experience
- Exposure to conveyors, robotics, or material handling systems
- Experience analyzing maintenance KPIs and performance metrics
- Technician mentoring and training experience
- Experience working in 24/7 operations
