Substitute School Nurse And/Or Health Aide
Reports To:
Principal And Director Of Special Education
Qualifications:
- Illinois Registered Nurse License
- PEL endorsed in school nursing with training to provide services in IEP meetings requiring medical plans and goals
- An interest and/or experience in working with children in grades Pre-K through 8
- Training and experience in managing diabetes plans
- Excellent attention to details in the handling of medical records and the administration of doctor-prescribed medication to children
- A strong commitment to professional excellence
- The ability to work collaboratively with others
- A willingness to participate in staff development opportunities
Work Year:
School Year (9 1/2 months)
