Under the general supervision of the Head of Maintenance the Custodians are responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the school. Position is approximately 29.6 hours a week.

Reports to:

Head of Maintenance.

• Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways and other areas of building according to school district standards.
• Performs tasks to maintain buildings and grounds in safe and operable condition, such as making minor repairs to property as requested, clearing snow and ice, and related tasks.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and waxes floors.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets as required.
• Clean restrooms.
• Wash windows and glass doors.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles.
• Pick up litter in and around buildings.
• Minor repairs.
• Replenishing supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
