Responsible for cleaning and organizing service and cookware as well as overall cleanliness of assigned areas. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Ensure that all dishes and equipment are clean and sanitized
- Ensure that all floors are kept clean and dry.
- Remove garbage and trash, ensuring clutter-free work areas.
- Responsible for daily cleaning duties throughout F&B.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Clean and organize service ware, cookware and dish station.
- Housekeeping in F&B areas.
- Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.
- This is not an exhaustive list of duties; others may be added as necessary.
- Protect the safety of self, workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests.
- Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
- Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
- Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resort’s Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals.
- Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others.
- Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK SCHEDULEDue to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCENo prior experience or training needed.
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American Money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to accurately read and make measurements.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable works and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
