Substitute Custodian
Under the supervision of the Head of Maintenance,
Substitute Custodians are responsible for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of school facilities.
- Cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and other areas; performing minor repairs; maintaining floors and carpets; washing windows; emptying trash; and replenishing supplies.
- They also handle tasks like clearing snow, making minor repairs, and other assigned duties.
Physical requirements involve standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, and reaching, bending, or crouching.
The work environment varies from moderate to loud noise levels typical of a school setting.
