Operations Attendant | Part-Time | Atlantic City Convention Center

Operations Attendants are responsible for the cleanliness of the facilities and for pre‑ and post‑event setup and teardown for the Atlantic City Convention Center and Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. The role ensures the venue is ready for SHOW TIME, communicates in a friendly, respectful, and understanding manner with colleagues and guests, and maintains a safe, hazard‑free environment for entertainers, guests, patrons, and staff.

Hourly wage: $17.19 (per CBA).

As per the Union Agreement.

EVERGREEN ROLE:
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no Final date to receive applications.

• Remain flexible in accepting daily assignments and duties.
• Follow and respond appropriately to oral and written instruction.
• Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Complete tasks timely and effectively.
• Follow the monthly event calendar and weekly schedules.
• Work as a team player.
• Attend department meetings.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work environment (janitor closets, housekeeping carts, etc.).
• Clean equipment and store it neatly in proper location.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Experience in a service‑related field, preferably environmental or convention services.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prepare facilities for events as assigned, including setting chairs, stages, tables, and counters (lifting up to 50 lbs.).
• Clean the grounds and perform trash removal as assigned.
• Perform work of a strenuous nature.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
