Job DescriptionSUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Head of Maintenance the Substitute Custodians are responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the school.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSThis position reports to the Head of Maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways and other areas of building according to school district standards.
- Performs tasks to maintain buildings and grounds in safe and operable condition, such as making minor repairs to property as requested, clearing snow and ice, and related tasks.
- Sweeps, Scrubs, Mops and waxes Floors.
- Vacuums and shampoos carpets as required.
- Washes Windows and Glass Doors.
- Empty and clean Trash receptacles.
- Pick up litter in and around buildings.
- Replenishing supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
