PT Floating Cleaner - Berks

Overview

KKBS Facility Services is seeking a part-time experienced evening cleaner to fill in cleaning assignments in the Berks County area and surrounding regions. The role may require filling in with little or no notice. Schedule is flexible, with guaranteed at least 15 hours per week and up to 25–30 hours as needed. Travel is required; a company vehicle and fuel card are provided after a probationary period.

Some weekend work may be required. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background screening and drug test are required.

Part time, evenings, 15–30 hours per week.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, varying from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Compensation: $18.00 per hour.

• General janitorial duties: trash removal and dusting, cleaning and restocking supplies
• Sweeping, dusting, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Spot cleaning, polishing, sanitizing and wiping surfaces
• Restocking items in bathrooms, break rooms, offices and conference rooms as necessary
• Follow customer cleaning duties and requirements
• Follow work schedule and adjust to changes

• Ability to work in a team and independently as needed
• Present a professional image while representing KKBS
• Good problem-solving and communication skills with management and coworkers
• Flexible evening schedule, typically 5:00 pm–11:00 pm
• Able to follow simple entry and alarm instructions and cleaning checklists
• Physically able to bend, lift up to 30 lbs, crouch and stoop
• Ability to pass a background screening (no felonies related to theft)
• Owning a reliable vehicle with valid insurance, registration and inspection
• Janitorial experience is preferred but training is available
