The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance orders, preventative maintenance, and projects related to all areas, equipment, and processes. This position will provide support and technical expertise for maintenance repairs, projects, and predictive maintenance. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Shift Available1st Shift – Monday to Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain high attention to detail and complete tasks that impact facilities, equipment, departments, and environment.
- Handle maintenance disciplines: general, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, facility, and grounds maintenance, including troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Provide support and technical expertise to maintenance and all affected departments to improve processes, tools, and products within associated areas.
- Supervise related equipment, parts, and maintenance project management; coordinate maintenance orders, scheduling, and compliance with DENR and OSHA regulations.
- Support projects from start to finish and collaborate with support staff as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
- Operate independently as a self‑starter with minimal supervision.
- Complete small to large projects and operate maintenance equipment.
- Work safely with maintenance chemicals and perform supply re‑ordering while seeking continuous improvement.
- Flex on duties and hours as needed to meet project timelines.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical, electrical, maintenance repair, project management, leadership, and problem solving.
- One to five years of relevant experience.
- Perform and lead core maintenance activities across Fabrication, Welding, Paint, Assembly, and other departments.
- Work efficiently and sustain equipment uptime and condition.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong judgment and decision‑making skills.
- Interface with mechanical, electrical, and other contractors.
- Apply knowledge of industrial equipment, processes, and manufacturing practices to resolve issues and implement improvements.
- Associate’s degree or experience in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Industrial Technology, PLC controls, or related fields preferred.
- Management, Engineering, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Safety Department.
- Vendors, local businesses, tech support, contractors.
- Repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand‑eye coordination, standing for extended periods, lifting multiple pounds regularly, wrist motion, reach above/below shoulders, step up/down, bend/stoop, twist, squat/crouch, kneel or crawl.
