Description:

Hourly Rate $20.00

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drives residents and staff to school (1291) building and outings.
• Responsible for delivery of snacks and lunch to 1291 with dietary aide.
• Makes minor repairs as needed.
• Performs janitorial work if needed.
• Assists maintenance with transportation and snow removal during snow storms.
• Liaison between staff in buildings 1 Cross Rd. and 1154.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety for residents and staff on a daily basis.
• Attends all required training by the facility.

As assigned by Director/Manager.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate lift on vehicles used to transport residents.
• Must be able to physically stand, bend and lift up to fifty pounds.
• Knowledge of and skill in maintenance functions such as painting, minor repairs.
• Must have good communication skills.
• As with all positions this position must obtain fingerprint clearance from NYS OPWDD, Child Abuse and Maltreatment Screening clearance from NYS OCFS and pass a drug screening prior to assignment.
