Service Technician - Ag Equipment

This employer is seeking a Service Technician for an established Ag Equipment business located in Central Nebraska. Ideal individual will have a solid mechanical aptitude and some Ag equipment background. Employer is seeking an individual who enjoys working closely with their team members to solve issues in a timely manner. Individual must be willing to be trained on GPS Ag Equipment.

Duties of role include:

• Servicing Miller and New Holland sprayers, dry fertilizer machines, augers and other farming implements
• Using specialized skills and experience to locate and diagnose machinery issues and generate a cost-effective solution
• Using computer-aided systems to help troubleshoot and repair faulty parts
• Working on an engine's electrical system or carburetor
• Welding cracked pipe fittings
• Other duties as assigned

HOURS OF OPERATION: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (Mon.

-Fri.) Sat. by appointment only Sun. only for emergencies

Qualifications:

• High School degree or GED diploma
• Ag background preferred but not required
• Willingness to be trained

• Mechanically apt and owning some tools
• Computer experience
