Housekeeper
Candidates will be responsible for general housekeeping duties in the facility, ensuring cleanliness and a pleasant environment for residents and staff.
Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning duties, including cleaning common areas, hallways, restrooms, dining spaces, and offices.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces to maintain a healthy environment.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and occasional buffing or waxing.
- Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks, including replacing bulbs, tightening fixtures, and reporting repair needs.
- Support room turnover for new residents or post-move-out cleaning.

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a respectful, resident-focused approach.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
The position operates on the 1st shift, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends. The environment requires adherence to safety procedures and involves physical tasks.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
