  • Pay Rate: $19.00 $ 20.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Shift 3 Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu, 10:00 PM 6:00 AM

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The candidate will work on the Automation portion of a 1.2 million sq. ft. distribution facility, performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and maintaining automation machines that process items to be distributed.

The candidate will be working with a team, and tools will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1 2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • 1.2 million sq. ft. distribution facility environment.
  • Tools will be provided.

  • Background check required: CBRE Safety Specific with drug screen.
  • Interview process: 1st round phone screen; 2nd round in-person with site tour.
