Substitute Custodian – Liberty Local Schools

Responsibilities:

• Perform general custodial duties related to the general appearance and cleanliness of district buildings.
• Clean floors, windows, desks, hallways and restrooms; sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed.
• Assist with school special events or emergency responses as required.
• Report maintenance issues, supply shortages, or hazards to the assigned building principal.

Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of custodial procedures.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties that may include lifting, moving heavy objects, and climbing ladders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in essential functions of the custodial position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful BCII/FBI background checks (required).

Hours: Eight (8) hours per day, as needed in and around district buildings.

Rate of Pay: Per current negotiated salary schedule.

Responsible to: Building Principals.
