Gasser Chair is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in keeping our manufacturing equipment and facility operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving mechanical and electrical problems, working with a variety of equipment, and helping minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

• Performing preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Assisting with the installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documenting completed repairs
• Monitoring and maintaining spare parts inventory
• Collaborating with production team members to quickly resolve equipment issues
• Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency
• Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies
• Assisting in training team members on the proper operation and basic maintenance of equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or industrial maintenance certification preferred
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices and maintenance procedures
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various manufacturing environments, including standing, climbing, bending, and working around production equipment
