Potential Position

• Custodian / Mechanic Helper

• Thorough knowledge of custodial procedures.
• Ability to perform work in accordance with job description.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties that may include, but are not limited to, lifting, moving heavy objects, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in essential functions of the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful BCI/FBI checks.

• Perform general custodial duties related to the appearance, cleanliness, repair, and operations of the buildings and grounds.
• Perform such maintenance duties as shall be assigned, which are necessary to the safety, health, and general welfare of the students and employees of the school district.
• Electrical / plumbing / carpentry skill preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills (e.g., email, word processing, work orders).

Hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Place of Assignment: High school building afternoon/midnight shifts (2:00‑10:00 PM, 3:00‑11:00 PM, or 4:00‑12:00 AM), as needed in and around district buildings.

Per current negotiated salary schedule.

Maintenance Coordinator, Building Principals, and Superintendent.
