Janitorial Supervisor; Supervisor

Overview

Summit Building Services is a leader in the janitorial industry, dedicated to creating greener, cleaner, and healthier environments for our clients. We are looking for an experienced supervisor to join our team in the Youngstown, Boardman & surrounding areas.

• Work with employees to handle all client requests or complaints in a timely manner.
• Supervise, train, motivate, and develop team members.
• Work with HR to ensure all positions are properly staffed and trained.
• Arrange for coverage in the event of an employee absence.
• Take disciplinary action and/or terminate employees when necessary.
• Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure specifications are met.
• Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary.
• Complete work tickets.
• Send reports to the Area Manager.
• Recommend special project work when needed.
• Complete ongoing education to gain competency in the position.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Experience working as a supervisor in a janitorial or related field is preferred.

Starting pay rate of $19.00 per hour.
Part-time position mainly on 2nd Shift
, 3rd Shift
, and Weekends
. Hours vary Monday through Saturday.

This position reports to the Area Manager.
