Full‑time Delivery Storeroom Attendant
LocationEastern Michigan University – 529 Saint Johns St., Upper Level, Ypsilanti, MI 48197
Schedule and Pay- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional weekends and nights required. - Pay: $18.00–$23.00 per hour.
- Deliver food, supplies, and related products across campus in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, following assigned routes and schedules.
- Receive, store, and inventory departmental supplies and foodstuffs, maintaining sanitation in storage areas.
- Stock food and supplies in correct containers and proper storage areas to prevent spoilage.
- Maintain records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable items according to standards.
- Label, date, and rotate stock following first‑in, first‑out procedures.
- Order food and supplies according to product specifications and company ordering protocols.
- Secure storage areas against theft, hazardous chemicals, and equipment, and follow all safety procedures.
- Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles, ensuring safe arrival.
- Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
- Report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment to appropriate resources.
- Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures.
- Use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets, and use equipment in line with safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior driving or delivery experience (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and nights.
- Basic math and record‑keeping skills.
- Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and food safety best practices is preferred.

Because this position is performed in an educational facility, periods of reduced activity may occur during school breaks; such periods may result in unpaid temporary layoff. However, the company retains the right to assign work year‑round and possibly at alternate locations.
