Description:
Maintenance Supervisor St. Joseph's Village | Ypsilanti, MI St. Joseph's Village, a Trinity Health Senior Community, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to help ensure our community remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents, visitors, and colleagues. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily maintenance operations, preventative maintenance programs, grounds management, and safety initiatives while supporting a mission-driven environment focused on exceptional resident care.
- Supervise daily maintenance operations and facility upkeep.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and routine repairs.
- Oversee building systems, equipment, and grounds maintenance, including snow and debris removal.
- Manage work orders and coordinate third-party contractors for major repairs and projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection prevention, OSHA, EPA, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and departmental expenses.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Coach and support maintenance team members while promoting a culture of service excellence.
- Collaborate with community leadership and other departments to support resident satisfaction and operational success.
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or building operations experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a related setting.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance, building systems, safety practices, and vendor management.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
