Maintenance Technician – Level 2

The Maintenance Technician – Level 2 is an integral member of the Oklahoma City maintenance team, responsible for supporting the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and processes. This role performs a variety of maintenance functions including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment repair. The Maintenance Technician – Level 2 also assists with maintenance and engineering initiatives that support the implementation and advancement of World Class Manufacturing standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced maintenance technicians.
  • Complete moderately complex maintenance and improvement projects, including equipment and process enhancements.
  • Maintain and repair machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, extruders, and printers.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical adjustments as needed to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Assist with changeovers on extruders and related peripheral equipment.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, issues, and repairs in the maintenance management system (Maint, MP2).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety documents, operating instructions, blueprints, schematics, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a constructive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We have multiple shifts available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Temp to hire $23 to $39 an hour, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
