SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Director, the Summer General Laborer will perform non-specialized indoor and outdoor manual labor.

• Maintain aesthetics of outdoor space by raking leaves and removing debris.
• Trim and shape shrubbery and trees to enhance appearance.
• Manicures lawns by cutting, weeding, and raking grass.
• Performs window washing duties to maintain cleanliness of premises.
• Applies paint to surfaces to refresh and improve overall look and quality of areas.
• Supports heavy duty tasks in kitchen and cafeteria operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Moves furniture and equipment to designated locations as part of maintenance or reorganization tasks.
• Supports upkeep of building and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines

• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift average to heavy weights, bend, stoop, reach and climb.
