American Health Career Institute:
Situated in Warrenville IL, a suburb of Chicago close to Aurora and Naperville, American Health Career Institute provides a Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program. This is an 8-week allied health course that can be taken during the day or in the evening, depending on availability. CPR certification is included in this course.

At the completion of the program you will be able to:
- Function effectively as a valued member of the health care team and meet the needs of the health care consumer within your approved scope of practice.
- Communicate effectively with health care consumers as well as other health care professionals
- Act as a patient/resident advocate using effective communication skills taught in this program
- Maintain consumer’s rights, safety, and medical records
Certification:
Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to take the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Nurse Aide Competency examination. CPR certification is also included in this course.
