Beauty / Cosmetology Programs in Seattle

Gene Juarez Academy:
With schools in North Seattle (Mountlake Terrace, Snohomish County), and South Seattle (Federal Way, King County), Gene Juarez Academy is a nationally accredited cosmetology school. We provide Cosmetology, Manicuring, and Cosmetology Instructor Training Programs taught by experienced and professional tutors.

Beauty Career Training Courses:

Cosmetology Program:
- Duration: 1600 hours, 1 year

Cosmetology classes start every four weeks and you attend three 10-hour days each week.

Subjects include fundamentals of haircutting, coloring, relaxers and extensions. The course provides you with the tools, techniques and business skills to build your successful career in the beauty industry.

Manicuring Program:
- Duration: 600 hours

Manicuring classes start every 15 weeks, and you attend five days a week for eight hours a day at our North Seattle Campus. The 600-hour program is designed can be completed in less than four months.

Cosmetology Instructor Training Program:
- Duration: 12 weeks, 500 hours

This program lets you mentor and coach the next generation of beauty artists as you engage your creative side.

Upon successful completion of this 12-week, 500-hour program, and after passing the state board exam for cosmetology instruction, you will receive your cosmetology instructor’s license and become an educator with Gene Juarez Academy.
