New England School of Acupuncture:
Situated in Newton MA, just 20 minutes west of Downtown Boston, New England School of Acupuncture is a natural / holistic health school that provides two distinct 3-year Masters Degree programs - a Master of Acupuncture (MAc), and a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM).
Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Masters Degree Programs:
- Duration: 3 years
All students complete extensive clinical components in their program, including observing practitioners and treating patients. Clinical internships are also available in a number of biomedical partner facilities in the Greater Boston area.
Master of Acupuncture (MAc)
Students choosing to focus their studies on acupuncture alone earn a Master's in Acupuncture (MAc) degree.
Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM)
Those electing to study acupuncture in combination with Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM) earn a Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) degree.
All students complete the core Chinese Acupuncture Styles (CAS) curriculum, and may then choose from the following tracks:
- Japanese Acupuncture Styles (JAS Track)
- Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM Track)
- Pain Management (PM Track)
- Combination of tracks
