Computer Summer Programs in Alabama
University of Alabama Department of Computer Science, Summer Camps:
This summer, the Department of Computer Science at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa will host a series of computer science camps for middle school and high school students. We welcome students from Alabama and throughout the United States, as well as international students from around the world. We provide a week-long day (commuter) camp for middle school students, and two-week camps for high school students with both day and overnight options available. Our fun and educational summer tech camps cover a range of computer science topics such as game programming and robotics.
Features of our Summer Computer Camps:
- Experienced & Qualified Instructors
Our tech camps are taught by a University of Alabama faculty member and three Ph.D. students (who have extensive experience in teaching Computer Science in high school; one assistant also has a PhD in Education and is pursuing a second PhD in Computer Science).
- Facilitators to Assist Students
Undergraduate students will serve as paid facilitators. In addition to the primary instructor, there will be at least 3 facilitators in the room at all times to assist students with questions during interactive sessions.
- Day & Overnight Options for High School Students
High school students may choose to commute if they live within the vicinity of our campus, or they may reside on campus in our new dormitories. These dorms typically have four private bedrooms that are shared within a common suite.
Special social activities will be planned in the evenings for dorm students. Both male and female University of Alabama camp staff members will be living on-site to assist students with any needs.
- Financial Aid may be available
A limited number of merit and financial-need tuition scholarships are available.

Two-week computer camps with commuter and residential dorm options available.

Camps begin at 9am and end at 3:30pm Monday to Friday. There will be an hour-long lunch break with planned social events for those staying in our dorms.

Located in the heart of Weston, Broward County in South Florida, Camp Sagemont offers summer camps for kids and teens from PK3 through to 8th Grade.Voted Best Summer Camp in Weston by our City of Weston's "Best of Weston", our camp is conveniently located at 1570 Sagemont Way (Sagemont School Lower School Campus), just minutes from I-75, I-595, and the Sawgrass Expressway.

iD Tech Camps offers immersive technology summer camp programs for kids and teens. iD Tech Camps in Florida offers week-long, tech-related day and overnight camps for kids ages 7-12 & teens ages 13-17. These technology education programs are held at 80 elite universities throughout the U.S including Florida locations - Rollins College (in Orange County), the University of Miami (in Coral Gables), and the University of South Florida (in Tampa).Choose from a wide variety of exciting course topics such as Programming, Game Design, Java, Coding, Modding, and more. iD Tech Camps welcomes international students (minimum language requirement - Basic English). Hola Mundo Beach and Sports Camp

Hola Mundo Beach Camp is a bilingual Spanish summer camp for boys and girls ages 4 to 13 where there is nonstop learning and playing sports at the beach. We are proud to offer a complete program full of educational activities at the beach, but our emphasis that the campers will be exposed to the Spanish language.
