Our range of courses covers all levels from the "basic level A1" (beginners) to the "advanced level B1/2". All our courses comply with the quality standards set by the European language portfolio (A1/"Breakthrough", A2/"Waystage", B1/"Threshold"). We use only the most recent teaching materials published by the Max Hueber-Verlag and the course book "Schritte" (including workbook) is included in the course fee.

As an extra help for our learners we offer bilingual glossaries for many different languages: German/English, German/French, German/Spanish, German/Russian, German/Chinese ....

Intensive Courses:

Courses take place from Monday til Friday.
For basic and advanced level

Evening Courses:
Courses take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18.30 - 21.00
For basic and advanced level

German Integration course:
The German Integration course prepares you for the officially recognized German language exam which is needed to fulfill the Austrian Integration Agreement (according to the new law on permanent and temporary residence as of January 1 st , 2006).

German language exam:

The officially recognized German language exam is to be taken at the level of difficulty “Elementary level A2”. The exam is held in the “deutschinstitut.at – Weiterbildungsinstitut Wien” at the end of the whole German Integration course package, that is to say after having finished course level A2/2 (A2/2 = second month of the elementary course level A2). Beginners will have to attend regularly courses A1/1, A1/2, A1/3, A2/1, A2/2 (= 5-month German Integration couPhoto of German Language Courses in Vienna, Austriarse package ) and successfully complete them before they can take this exam.

Immigrants who already have some German language skills can start their German Integration course at a higher level than A1/1 (A1/1 = beginners without any German language skills) and consequently complete the German Integration course package within a shorter period of time.

How to find us !

By air:
Vienna’s Schwechat Airport lies 20 km from the city centre. Bus connections are excellent, with a shuttle service running every 20 minutes between the airport and the City Air Terminal near the Stadtpark (Underground: Landstrasse/Wien-Mitte), adjoining the First District. There is also a regular bus service to the Süd-and Westbahnhof. In addition there is a S-Bahn conncection with the Südbahnhof (S-7). Both Brussels and Amsterdam schedule several departures daily.

By rail:
Trains from the west arrive at the Westbahnhof. From there one can catch an underground train (lines U3 and U6) to the centre. Alternately, trams 5,6,9 and 18 will also take you there. Trains from east and north Germany arrive at the Ostbahnhof. This station too offers various possibilities for reaching the city centre.
