Konall Culture Exchange (KCE) offers fully-accredited Mandarin Chinese language and culture programs that are available in summer and year-round to students from around the world. Our school is located in Shijiazhuang which is the capital and largest city of North China's Hebei Province. Only 2 hours by train south of Beijing, Shijiazhuang is an ideal place for to learn Mandarin due to the undiluted culture and language environment that is the result of a lack of foreign influence. If you are serious about learning Mandarin Chinese in a true immersion environment, KCE is the school for you!

Summer & Year-Round Mandarin Chinese Courses:
KCE specialize in intensive 1-to-1 Mandarin language and Chinese culture programs geared towards serious learners who want to see real progress.

Our language programs primary focus is on oral fluency and cultural competency, while also building a strong base in reading and writing.

Each student receives an individually tailored curriculum that specifically addresses their individual goals. You will learn more here than you thought possible in just a few months.

Monthly Intensive Chinese Program: 
(20 hours of private Mandarin lessons per week)

Offered in summer and throughout the year, the monthly intensive Mandarin program is the ideal program for those who want to improve their Mandarin language skills as quickly as possible.

The program consists of four hours of private 1-to-1 Mandarin language classes per day with an individually tailored curriculum that specifically addresses your own goals for studying Chinese.

You may choose to cover all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) or use class time to focus on the the areas that are most important to you.

Our monthly intensive program offers a great deal of flexibility and you are free to choose your own start date and length of stay. Study what you want, how you want, for maximum results.

The vast benefits of individual instruction combined with our flexible curriculum, and our professional, full-time Mandarin instructors mean you will find yourself in the ideal environment for rapidly acquiring fluency in the Chinese language.

Study and Travel Tours (group Mandarin immersion programs)
KCE Study and Travel Tours consist of three components - Language, Culture and Travel, each of which can be tailored to your groups specific requirements.

The aim of the program is to provide you with a comprehensive Chinese language and culture study experience that builds a solid foundation in the language while at the same time increasing global awareness and sparking interest in a country rich in history and culture that is rapidly advancing into the 21st century.

Mandarin Language Classes:
Our classes are suitable for students with all levels of Mandarin - from total beginner to advanced. They are all conducted on a one-to-one basis which means you can learn at your own pace in a pressure-free environment and build a strong foundation in the Chinese language. Our fully-certified instructors will provide you with an individually tailored curriculum graded to your current Chinese level.

Culture Classes:
Group culture classes help you to gain a deeper insight into the rich and varied culture, customs, and history of this fascinating and ancient country.

Travel:
In your final week in China, your group will receive a guided tour of all of the sights of the dazzling capital city of Beijing. Beijing tour sites include:

- Great Wall; Forbidden City; Summer Palace; Temple of Heaven; Tiananmen Square; Hutong Rickshaw Tour; Birds Nest Stadium; Water Cube; Tea House Tour.

You will receive private transportation to and from all tour sites and you will be escorted by KCE teaching staff throughout the trip. Accommodation is provided at a modern hotel near the center of the city and all meals are included.

Homestay Accommodation with local Chinese family:
Living with a Chinese host-family is a great option for anyone wanting a complete China experience. In addition to improving your Mandarin through increased immersion, you will also gain a unique insight into modern Chinese family life and the culture and customs that go with it. 

During your stay with a host-family you will find that Chinese people are among the most hospitable in the world, and will go to great lengths to make you feel at home. 

Many families will organize weekend excursions and you will have a very special opportunity to learn about Chinese culture firsthand as you are included in every aspect of their lives.

Each of our carefully screened families provide a level of comfort that is on par with what you would find in your home country. You will receive two meals per day and have your own private, fully furnished room.
