The IMBA program is a two year full-time program. Classes are taught completely in English, with weekly Chinese classes provided free of charge. Professors come from top universities and corporations from around the world, providing an international perspective with a focus on China. Half of our IMBA students are from China, while the other half are from various countries around the world, enabling a truly global interactive classroom environment. Facilities are modern and fully equipped, and the curriculum is world-class.

The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE)

The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), formerly known as the Beijing Institute of Foreign Trade (BIFT), was founded in 1951. The University offers thirteen master's and two doctoral degree programs in addition to twenty-two undergraduate major fields. The University is accredited by the Academic Degree Committee under the State Council. In 1988 the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York acknowledged UIBE's granting the degree of Master Business Administration in International Trade, which leads to the recognition of the above program by all American universities. At present, UIBE has over 20,000 students from China and 600 international students from more than 30 countries.

The University is located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, just a two hour drive from Shanghai. Beijing International MBA at Peking University(BiMBA)

Beijing International MBA at Peking University is the first joint international MBA program in Beijing approved by the Chinese government. The China Center for Economic Research (CCER) at Peking University was founded in August 1994, as an experiment in new methods of research and education in China.

CCER brought together a group of well-trained scholars in the fields of economics and management, from China and around the world, to make contributions to education and research at Peking University, to foster economic reform and development in China, and to contribute to the development of modern economic and management theories.

University of Maryland Robert H. Smith Business School, Beijing
Courses / Programs
The University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business offers an 18-month executive leadership and development program in Beijing, China that is provided by some of the most highly-regarded American professors in Beijing. The Leadership EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) program is taught in English to students from around the world.

The program is fully-accredited by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and Chinese Ministry of Education. Our classes are conveniently located on the UIBE campus in Beijing's Chaoyang district, close to the city's Embassy and Central Business District.

In addition to the Leadership EMBA, we provide our EMBA+ Chinese Program. This 18-month program offers the same courses as other University of Maryland EMBA programs, with an additional emphasis on developing fluency in Mandarin Chinese. In the EMBA+ program, instead of work, students focus full time on developing their Chinese language ability, and spend 4 days a month in the classroom environment working on their MBA.
