HHS International Cultural Exchange Center has been promoting cultural exchange in throughout China since 2001. The HHS China Program is designed to foster exchange of culture, language, and ideas in order to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding. We accept Cultural Ambassadors from all over the world. This is a worry-free, expense-free way to experience China.

HHS stands for Hu Hui Sheng 互惠生, meaning one who is treated as an equal. As a Cultural Ambassador you will become a member of a Chinese family. You will be included in family activities such as meals, and holiday celebrations, unlike an employee. In exchange you will act as a language and culture mentor to your host child(ren).

Not only will you learn a new language, you’ll learn a whole new way of life and open doorways to future prospects! Upon completion of your program, HHS Center will be happy to introduce you to future study opportunities, internships, or work placements. You will gain valuable international experience, receive a Mandarin Chinese language certificate, and a recommendation letter; all of which will enrich your resume and help you to further your education and career at home and abroad.
HHS Cultural Ambassador Program: 3, 6, or 12 month programs in a range of locations throughout China.

As an HHS Cultural Ambassador you will receive free:
