The Colorado Springs School set at the foot of the Rockie mountaines offers education programs for pre-kindergarten through to Grade 12. We are located in the historic Trianon Building in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The historic Trianon, built in 1907 as a private home, serves as the centerpiece of our lovely campus. As of 2008, the Trianon became home to the Middle School. Classrooms, science labs, student gathering areas, a technology lab, Middle School Head and Middle School secretary are all located in this building. The neo-classical style building also houses administrative offices, the school library, and meeting rooms.

The Head of School, receptionist, PK-5 Admissions, and business offices are located on the main floor. Admissions 6-12, Advancement and Communications office are located on the second floor.


Location and Facilities:

 

El Pomar Academic Center:
Our Upper Schools is housed in the El Pomar Academic Center. Classrooms, science labs, student gathering areas, college couseling, a computer lab, Upper School Head, and Upper School secretary is located in this building.

Children's Academic Center:
Second through fifth grade classrooms, offices, and a computer lab are in the CAC. The Children's School Head is located in the CAC.

Early Childhood Center:
Our PreKindergarten through first grade classes meet in the ECC. The Children's School secretary is located in this building.

Carriage House Fine Arts:
When this building was built in 1908, it was originally the carriage house, housing polo ponies, carriages, and carriage horses. Now, Children's School art, Middle and Upper School studio art, and Middle and Upper School photography meet in this building. It also houses the facilities and maintenance office.

Louisa Performing Arts Center:
This gem of a theatre is one of the busiest spots on campus. In addition to the theatre, it contains an art gallery and classroom.

Louise Honnen Tutt Field House:
The newest building on our campus, the Louise Honnen Tutt Field House gives our growing athletic program excellent facilities. The NCAA-sized gymnasium allows up to three volleyball courts and up to two basketball courts for practice. Locker rooms, weight room, and coaches' offices are located here. On the mezzanine level, our music program benefits from a band room and a vocal music room.

Maytag Dining Hall
The first building added, after The Colorado Springs School purchased the property in 1967, the Maytag Dining Hall serves hot lunches every weekday. Students can choose from a variety of healthy and tasty items. The school nurse and one classroom are also located in this building.

Directions from I-25:

Exit at Circle Drive/Lake Avenue. Head west (toward the mountains). Circle Drive becomes Lake Avenue near the Highway 115/Nevada Avenue overpass. Continue west on Lake Avenue through the second roundabout. Turn left on Hutton Lane. At the stop sign, you'll see the campus. Dogleg right and left through the gates.

The main administration building is the lovely historic Trianon on your right. Boddington Fields are across the street from the Trianon. The Louise Honnen Tutt Field House is to the south of the Trianon, so continue on in the driveway, past the Louisa Performing Arts Center. Turn right to go downhill, and right again in the back driveway. The field house is on the right.

At Bolder Pathway School in Broomfield CO, we provide an education that is tailored to your child’s individual needs.

Situated 15 minutes north of Denver and 15 minutes south of Boulder, we are a K-12 private school for kids with learning, emotional, or other special needs.

ID Tech Camps, Colorado
Courses / Programs
iD Tech Camps provide computer science and tech-related summer courses on campus at Colorado State University (in Fort Collins), and the University of Denver (in Denver County). Colorado course options include week-long day camps for ages 7-17 (iD Tech Camps), and 2-week, pre-college programs for ages 13-18 (iD Academies).

Choose from a wide variety of exciting course topics - Game Design, Web Design, Coding, Programming Modding, and Robotics among others. Students get the opportunity to build STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills in our state of the art tech labs.

Courses are designed so that you can register for one or multiple weeks (further camps). Many students choose to sign up for multi-week packages to build on their skills and learn new subjects. Students often stretch their skills for 3, 4, and even 5 consecutive weeks.
