By signing up for an on-site or online course, you are helping us help those who lack the skills to earn a living wage. We offer end-user and advanced technical training for businesses and individuals both on-site and online.
About Us:
CitiWide Computer Training Center (CitiWide) is a nonprofit community-based organization in Washington, D.C. Since inception in 1993, we have trained and provided services to over 10,500 individuals from low-income and underserved communities in the District. We provide training in Computer Technology, English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Literacy and General Education Diploma (GED). Additionally our organization conducts an After-School Program for children ages 7 to 18 years as well as a Summer Youth Program for young adults.
Our Mission:
To use information technology to close the digital divide between the haves and the have-nots and help low-income families reach their educational potentials and improve their socio-economic conditions.
Technology Integration:
In all our programs, technology is integrated across the curriculum in order to meet the ever increasing need for workers with appropriate skills for our technology-dependent workplace. Graduates from our training center are empowered to continue their education or go to work in a variety of challenging information technology or academic fields. Our vision is to train tomorrow’s workforce today. We strive to sustain our organization by conducting ourselves professionally and ethically.
