Our program development is guided by the belief that none of these factors develop in isolation.

Physical Education:

- Prepare students with skills for future leisure pursuits through exposures to various individual, team and alternative activities.
- Formulate activity patterns that can be extended into adulthood.
- “Reduce the risk for specific health problems including: coronary heart disease, hypertension, colon cancer, and depression, as well as lower all-cause death rates.”(CDC 1990 Youth Risk Behavior Survey)
- Increase cardiovascular efficiency.
- Improve one's physical literacy.

Arts and Technology Electives:
Denver Academy's multi-faceted arts and technology programs are designed to develop awareness and appreciation of the creative aspects of life as well as the academics. A strong combination of diverse activities helps to build integrity, character, and self-esteem in our students. In the Arts, students are guided through creative processes which help develop passion, purpose, and a work ethic that will benefit their lives on and off campus.

Denver Academy's commitment in teaching to students’ multiple intelligences allow us to offer many outlets in the Creative Arts. Disciplines such as Drama, Computer Arts, Film and Video, Music, and Visual Arts provide students an outlet for integrated learning, self-expression, and self-discovery.
