Denver Academy:
Denver Academy (DA), located in Denver, Colorado, is an accredited private day school for students with learning differences offering grades 1-12. Our students are best described as having average or above aptitudes but have not reached their academic potential in traditional educational settings. Some have identifiable learning differences such as dyslexia or attention deficits (ADD/ADHD), while others have strengths in non-traditional learning styles.
Denver Academy is accredited by the Association of Colorado Independent Schools every seven years. ACIS, the Colorado branch of the National Association of Independent Schools, has outlined standards of excellence for its member schools. Schools accredited by ACIS are recognized by the Colorado State Board of Education. Denver Academy is listed in the accredited directories of both ACIS and NAIS.
