Located in Stafford, adjacent to Sugar Land and southwest of Houston in Fort Bend and Harrison Counties, within the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown Metropolitan Area in Texas, Fort Bend Music Center offers music lessons for young children of four years upwards, teenagers and adults in piano, guitar, drum, violin as well as voice and musical theater. Instruments:
We offer private and group course classes in piano, guitar, drum and violin.

* Piano:
Fort Bend Music Center offers piano lessons in three teaching formats: Private, Yamaha Music Education System small group lessons and Semi-private lessons.
* Guitar:
Fort Bend Music Center offers guitar lessons in three teaching formats: private lessons, small group lessons, and buddy lessons (semi-private). Intermediate and Advanced students may join a band which is focused on the student’s musical goals, whether Rock, Country, or Gospel.

* Voice:
The voice has not matured to the point that a child can have extensive vocal training, however, the basic rudiments Image of Music Lessons for Kids & Adults in Sugar Land TX areaof singing can be taught and perfected. We will teach matching pitch, reading music, breath control, rhythm and diction. Students will learn all the basic elements of music: Melody, harmony, and rhythm. They will also learn the basic elements of stagecraft.

These skills and concepts will be applied to songs. Since singers do not sing while standing like a statue, students will how to move and how to project the voice when moving. Rhythm is also best taught by movement... simple steps, clapping, and rhythm instruments.
* Theater:
Theater Arts education enhances skills in all the Performing Arts. Ft. Bend Music Center offers three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. This division works with the other departments providing the student with the opportunity to study stagecraft, theater literature and acting. Sessions are 8 weeks.

Conveniently located in Plano TX, The International Music Conservatory (IMC) provides group music classes and private music lessons for kids and teenagers ages 2-18 from all over the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. The Recording Conservatory of Austin (TRCoA) in Travis County, central Texas offers programs for audio engineering, music production and music business students. Each one of our mentor-ship style classes are taught completely one-on-one, giving the student undivided attention for each lesson. Beginning Audio Engineering is a prerequisite and sets the foundation for the Advanced Music Production and Electronic Music Composition programs. The Beginning Audio Engineering and Advanced Music Production programs take six months to complete. The Electronic Music Composition program is 16 weeks long.

TRCoA's program is designed to work with your schedule. All classes can be scheduled for evening or weekends. Additionally, the studio and editing rooms are open to students 24/7. TRCoA is recognized by the Texas Workforce Commission. Because all of our classes are taught one on one, TRCoA fall under a special exemption for trade schools provided by the Texas Workforce Commission. New classes start every two months. Classes start in January, March, May, July, September, and November.
