Pro Tools Operator Certification:
This package goes in depth into sophisticated sound recording, mixing, and editing techniques, as well as beat detective, MIDI, elastic audio and much more to further your level of Pro Tools audio education. You will work with sophisticated Pro Tools systems and control surfaces throughout the curriculum. Upon successfully completing the four Certified Pro Tools courses in this accelerated package, you will take your Avid exams for Pro Tools Certification.

Expert Certification Package
This 104 clock-hour accelerated package is our most comprehensive. It includes FIVE Avid/ Digidesign Certified Courses. Welcome to MediaTech Institute, a place for anyone looking for a creative career in the entertainment business. We have campuses in Houston, Dallas, Austin, Texas and Oceanside, California. Currently we offer two programs and new additional classes designed to help each student develop the skills to realize their dream to work in the Film and Video or the Audio Industry. Our philosophy is to provide each student access to industry standard facilities and equipment. That is why each program provides extensive hands-on experience on a wide range of equipment currently being used by working professionals. The Recording Arts Program is a comprehensive program designed to teach students the basic to advanced aspects of audio recording, operational and basic technical concepts of audio equipment provided by practical applications, demonstrations and projects that are based around the many different audio related professions. Basic system configurations are developed to understand equipment interrelationships. Graduates of this program may find entry-level employment as an assistant engineer in a recording studio, radio station, TV station, Post-production facility,or live music venue.
Recording Arts Program. The approximate time to complete this program is 44 weeks. Students will be awarded a diploma upon completion.
