French Immersion Programs in France

Corcelle, Burgundy:
Corcelle was founded in 1992 to provide organisations and individuals with effective and efficient French language courses. Corcelle offers one-to-one total immersion in our language school in Southern Burgundy, France. Our residential courses are highly intensive programs for professionals, business people, executives, diplomats and other highly motivated adults. The one-to-one course is without doubt the most effective way of learning a language. Only this formula allows a programme to be individually tailored to the particular needs and potential of each learner.

The program consists of 50 + contact hours per week, (including all meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner) - with a teacher. It is full-time with constant interaction and language development. A teaching team of 3 to 4 teachers is allocated to each student. A daily revision recording prepared by the teachers is included in the program and copied on CD for further use after the course. The keynote of the Corcelle programme is the completely individualised nature of each program: it is tailored to the specific needs and potential of each student.

Our objective is to help and prepare each student in the most effective way possible for contact with a francophone environment.

We promise to provide you with all the resources and personal attention you can expect from a quality language course. If you are an absolute beginner when you arrive, would you expect to be fluent when you leave after 2 or 3 weeks? No. But if you are a motivated learner, you will be able to express yourself and hold up your end of the conversation with a French speaker who is aware that you are not a native speaker.
