The Languge Guesthouse - Living + Learning Combined is a small language teaching institution located in Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl, a small  town amidst the recreation and winegrowing area Breisgau not far from Freiburg in the South-Western part of Germany. The Language Guesthouse is bigger than a typical language homestay but smaller than a typical language school.

The Language Guesthouse provides a concept of immersion teaching (German as a Foreign language) adapted to the individual requirements of adult learners (16 y+), business executives, families or language learners of the 50+ generatioPhoto of Contact Page - German Language Courses in Freiburg, Germanyn.

Aim of the Language Guesthouse is…
…to meet the individual academic needs and requirements of each student,
…to help him to make the most of his language course,
…to help him to experience authentic life in Germany,
…to provide a hospitable and relaxed learning and living environment

Accommodation is similar to a Bed & Breakfast in a small family-like setting with maximum 6 guests. Students have meals together with their language trainer.

The language programme includes one-to-one or small group (couples, friends, colleagues, families) German language classes and a supplementary programme of cultural, sightseeing or creative in-house activities, shared with the language trainer and maybe other guests. This programme is offered as a come together of speaking and action in real but still teacher supported communication.

German Courses / Programs:
- Individual (one-to-one) classes are standard
- Classes for couples, families, small groups up to 5 participants of similar previous language skills are provided on request.
- Special German classes for students with specialized interests (business, technology, science, medicine)
- preparation of language exams (i.e. Zertifikat Deutsch, TestDaF...)
- Active+Creative program (trips, sightseeing, hiking, creative in-house activities)

Different course packages and a free "you select" programme offer choices between 10 and 30 weekly hours of language tuition and between 0 and 15 hours of activity.

Located in southern Germany, directly on Lake Constance near the Swiss Alps, Carl Duisberg Centren in Radolfzell provides high-quality German language courses year-round to students from all over the world. The closest international airport is Zurich in Switzerland which is only 55km away. There are also excellent train and bus connections from Frankfurt, Stuttgart and other German and Swiss cities. Radolfzell is only 2 hours from winter sports centers in Austria and Switzerland, great if you are a skier or snowboarder!

Founded in 1981, our school is conveniently situated beside the Radolfzell City Gardens and offers a view of the historic, medieval center of town. Our school has a personal, friendly atmosphere and our students quickly feel at home. This small school has eight classrooms, a small cafeteria, a computer room and a basement party room.

Many students stay in small groups in the Carl Duisberg guest houses. Alternatively, we can offer homestay accommodation with carefully-selected host families who live in the town or in the surrounding villages.
