Software Engineering Program - Classroom-based & Online:
Course Duration: 24 weeksThis program will help you to learn how to write, test and debug programs which are essentially a series of logical instructions.
You will learn to develop programs or ‘software’ for a wide variety of applications such as the internet and for a wide range of organizations. This course prepares you for the following exams:
- 70-361: Software Development Fundamentals
- 70-362: Windows Development Fundamentals
- 70-483: Programming in C#
This course will teach you how to:
- Analyze users’ needs, then design, test, and develop software to meet those needs
- Design each piece of the application or system and plan how the pieces will work together
- Design, develop and modify software systems, using mathematical models and scientific analysis to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
- Recommend software upgrades for customers’ existing programs and systems
- Create flowcharts and other models that instruct programmers how to write the software’s code
- Ensure that the software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing
- Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software
- Document every aspect of the application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades
