Located in the village of Schull in West Cork, South-West Ireland, Atlantic School of English & Active Leisure provides a range of English courses year-round to students from all over the world. In addition to group classes and private lessons that are held at our school, our HELP course (Home English Language Programme) offers students the opportunity to live with their English teacher.

We teach students with all levels of English from beginner to advanced. Schull is located 100km south-west of Cork City (which has an international airport and ferry terminals), and approximately 360km from Dublin.
 
Homestay with English Teacher / English Immersion course:
The HELP (Home English Language Programme) course is the ideal choice for students of English who want the 'full immersion' experience by living and learning with their teacher in his or her own home.

You can have 'One to One' tuition or come with a friend, family member or colleague for our 'Two to One' experience.

Micro-Groups (maximum of 4 students) can also be catered for by special arrangement.

Our teachers' homes are very comfortable and usually located in a place of scenic beauty in magical West Cork.

Each day, Monday to Friday, you will have four hours of English classes with your English teacher. You will have a minimum of one evening of entertainment. and on two afternoons you will participate in leisure activities of interest to you.

These can be creative activities (Irish music, dance, stone engraving, jewellery making, aromatherapy lessons, pottery), cultural trips, land sports (horse-riding, hiking, cycling, golf, tennis, walking), watersports (sailing, kayaking, scuba diving) and you will also have a full day excursion at the weekends.
