We offer evening & weekend Spanish classes at six levels - from beginner to advanced. We also offer private Spanish tuition and corporate Spanish training. UIC is situated just a few minutes from Oxford Circus underground station in Central London.
- Evening Spanish Classes:
UIC offers evening Spanish courses at 6 levels (Beginner; Beginner Plus; Elementary; Pre Intermediate; Intermediate & Advanced). The first 4 levels are usually completed in one course of 10 weeks (2 hours a week). The levels intermediate and above are often subdivided and can take longer to complete.
- Private Spanish Lessons:
Our flexible programmes enable you to choose a time that suits your learning style, work schedule and your home life. The contents, times and starting dates of these private classes can be arranged to suit the individual student's needs. Two-to-one lessons and small group classes are also available.
- Weekend Spanish Classes:
UIC weekend Spanish courses are five weeks in duration and classes are for three hours on Saturdays.
- Corporate Spanish Training:
Lessons can take place at UIC London centre or at your own business premises.
Our corporate study programme allows you to train any number of executives, from
one to one up to 12 students. The courses are designed to meet the specific
needs of your industry.
Other Language Courses:
UIC offers English language courses for adults year round as well as English courses for teenagers and children in the summer. Evening classes in other modern foreign languages including French, German, Italian, Chinese and Japanese are also available.
Our Spanish classes are highly interactive with the focus on speaking and listening and with our small classes (maximum of 12 students and an average of 9) there is plenty of opportunity to speak. Lessons include a balance of conversation, listening, grammar and pronunciation to help you survive and communicate in everyday situations in Spanish speaking countries.
Our Teachers:
All our Spanish teachers are native speakers and all have a formal teaching qualification. It is also possible to set up an exchange conversations session with Spanish-speaking students to give you a better opportunity to practise your speaking skills.
Spanish is now the 2nd most commonly spoken language on earth. It is spoken and used by over 400 million people in countries from Chile to Spain as well as in many cities throughout the world. For example Spanish is widely used in New York and Los Angeles where it is a vibrant alternative to English and in many cases a first language. Students come to us to learn Spanish for a number of different reasons – sometimes for a holiday, sometimes for work or perhaps just for cultural interest. We have had students who were interested in flamenco and Spanish films.
