Pro-Makeup Artistry Program:
Professional Makeup Class 5 Day Course. Become a Certified Makeup Artist!

This class will teach you:
* All the techniques to create the most popular eyes: Cat, Smoky, Fantasy Eyes… and more!
* Proper skin preparation and foundation matching.
* How to use camouflage, concealer, primer, and corrective makeup.
* Highlighting and contouring.
* How to create different looks: day to night makeup, dramatic, and fantasy.
* Brides and Quinceaneras : Learn how to do the makeup and book yourself.
* Learn color theory and lighting.

At the end of this 5 day course you will be certified and have all the tools, makeup, and knowledge to begin work as a Makeup Artist!

This course includes:

High Fashion & Fantasy Class:
6 Hour Class. Learn the advanced techniques required when working with models on Runways and on TV. Create fantasy characters and learn to work with many materials other than makeup.

Some material will be provided, but please bring your own brushes and any other material you want to work with. You are welcome to bring your own model.

Are you a make up artist and/or hairdresser that is highly skilled and ready to launch your freelance career outside of the salon or studio? We have the ticket for you! A freelancer must have an outstanding portfolio to show prospective clients. But how do you build a portfolio without the clients? It’s a Catch-22!

The Ruby Academy of Beauty and Make Up is proud to offer you the opportunity to work with us at various Hollywood events, fundraisers, fashion shows and photo shoots. We give you two opportunities to work with models on location as they prepare for a live event that will be professionally photographed.

More than 50% of your time in our academy is spent on-site, working with models; make up artists, hair dressers, designers and photographers. Through your class work, you might even pick up actual jobs with Ruby Academy of Makeup Art to go on location and be paid!

Most schools do not offer a portfolio building program. They quickly teach you the basics to get you certified and send you off. But where does that leave you? No where. You must practice your art and then have it showcased and photographed. At Ruby we recognize that without a Portfolio, you are not going to be taken seriously and considered for jobs.

A huge key in the success of our program is that we pair up with professional designers, models and photographers. This creates an image that you could not possibly duplicate in your own home or salon. The results will set you above the crowd as a true professional that has taken the time to carefully craft a portfolio that speaks for itself.

Class is 8 hours in studio and 2 fashion shows (approximately 10 hours) where you will work with various models, stylists and photographers. This class is a must have for any new professional wanting to take their career to the next level.
