Located in Reno, Washoe County, Nevada, Mountain View Montessori School is an independent, co-educational, non-profit, non-sectarian school for children in preschool through 8th grade. We also offer before and after school care programs. We provide a range of co-curricular activities including tae kwon-do, dancing, fine arts to enhance our core curriculum. Our school is governed by the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori which seek to educate the whole child for life. Mountain View Montessori School is licensed with the Nevada State Department of Education and Washoe County Social Services.

We are affiliated with and accredited by Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). We are also members of the North American Montessori Teachers Association (NAMTA).
