Every summer, Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire welcomes to campus some 750 students for five weeks of academic study, athletics, and exploration that carry participants far beyond the classrooms and the playing fields. We offer day and residential programs to students from eight grade upwards from the US and overseas.Our programs, THE UPPER SCHOOL—comprised of 450 students who have completed grades nine, ten, eleven, or twelve—and ACCESS EXETER®—comprised of 300 students who have completed grades seven or eight—provide a challenging academic curriculum for students. These students embody a rich diversity of language, culture, religion, and race.
The UPPER SCHOOL offers more than 100 courses of study in the arts, sciences, and humanities for high school students entering grades 10 through 12. As an UPPER SCHOOL student, you have the freedom to design your own program of study: select any 3 courses you find appealing.
