Summer Language Immersion Program for Kids in NYC

Language Workshop For Children:
The Language Workshop for Children provides language instruction for young children in New York City. We provide a range of immersive summer language programs in Spanish, French, and Chinese.

François Thibaut, Founder and Director of the Language Workshop for Children, pioneered his program's distinctive Thibaut Technique™ in 1973. His method combines carefully structured curriculum and a child's innate love of play. LWFC structured playgroups let parents capture the window of opportunity years when children possess their greatest capacity to absorb and retain language.

Educationally Effective Teaching Methods:
Just because a program uses foreign songs and games doesn't mean kids are learning. The difference is in the method and the materials. Each LWFC teacher is personally trained and supervised by Mr. Thibaut to use his educationally effective technique, proven since 1973.

Children's minds are engaged in animated classes that systematically use original LWFC songs, games, time-tested visual aids, and lots more. François Thibaut works with professional composers to develop the award-winning vocabulary-building songs produced by The Language Workshop®.

* Enroll in LWFC Summer by first calling to reserve and then submitting your Enrollment Form by mail, fax, in person, or scan/email. We regret that the LWFC’s on-line system does accommodate our Summer programs.

* The LWFC’s Summer Camp-Like Enrichment Program fills quickly, so be sure to call for availability before sending your paperwork and to place a 3-day hold.
