The Continuo Arts Foundation in Westfield, Summit, NJ, is a charitable organization that offers national and international performance opportunities, educational enrichment and musical exposure. We offer a 3-week intensive summer Musical Theater Conservatory to children and teenagers from 7-18 years.


Location and Facilities:

 

Conservatory training is held at the Presbyterian Church of Westfield / Oak Knoll School, Summit NJ.

The Continuo Arts Foundation offers weekly rehearsals for our choral programs at the Historic Twin Maples Estate in Summit, NJ, but our office is based in Westfield, NJ. We are happy to accept anyone and advertise to surrounding areas.

Located in the Tinton Falls area of Monmouth County NJ, just an hour south of NYC, Ranney School is a co-ed, private college preparatory day school that offers a wide range of summer camp programs. We provide academic, gifted & talented, and fine & performing arts talent development summer courses, as well as full-day Day Camps for 3-13 year-olds; Trip Camps for 10-13 year-olds; a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program for 14-year-olds; and a number of Sports Camps.

Our fully-accredited Day Camp is licensed by the state of New Jersey and accredited by the American Camp Association, whose high standards cover all aspects of summer camp operation, including: staffing, safety, facilities, trips, sport activities, and cafeteria and pool operations.

These highly-engaging learning experiences support individual student growth by building skills, and by preventing what is commonly referred to as “summer slide,” - that is, the loss of academic skills over the summer. Our dynamic programs build upon and expand a child’s experiential base of knowledge by emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach to learning through curiosity, inquiry, discovery and creative expression.

Summer Program at the HSBC Children's Garden at QBG

Located in Flushing, Queens NY, the HSBC Children’s Garden at Queens Botanical Garden provides hands-on summer gardening camps for kids ages 5-12. We aim to teach them about nature, gardens, and plants in a fun and engaging way, while they enjoy playing in this beautiful environment. We also offer spring and fall programs for young gardeners.

Our mission is to have the children learning by doing. All sessions combine practical gardening activities with environmental education. Enrollment is limited to 25-28 children, who are then divided into 3 groups, based on their age and abilities. We allocate one supervising counselor and two or three interns to each group, so you can be assured that your child will get the individual attention they need.
Summer gardening camps held in July & August for kids ages 5-12. Held 2 days a week from 9am to 4pm. Your child can attend on Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Your child is welcome to:

- attend the full 7-week program
- attend for July only
- attend for August only

We also offer spring and fall programs for young gardeners.

With convenient locations in the North Slope and South Slope areas of Park Slope, Brooklyn NY, Juguemos a Cantar provides a range of Spanish language programs for kids and teens (ages 6 months to 17 years old). We offer summer Spanish camps, Spanish immersion preschool, after-school Spanish classes, Spanish language workshops and much more.

Juguemos a Cantar provides Spanish summer camps for young kids ages 2-8. Kids ages 2-4 attend camp at our North Slope location. Both full-day and half-day programs are available for 2-4 year olds.

Pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Graders attend camp at our South Slope location. We offer full-day programs only for this age group, with extended day until 6pm available at an additional fee.

In addition, we offer an after camp summer program for fully bilingual children from Pre-kindergarten to 4th Grade at our South Slope campus.

Taught entirely in Spanish by highly-qualified and experienced bilingual teachers and instructors, our summer camps provide a Spanish immersion environment while they enjoy enriching activities every day. Activities can include field trips, structured play, and/or workshops.

Our summer camps are designed to provide an environment where English-speaking children learn Spanish, and Spanish-speaking children further develop their language skills.
Spanish Summer Camps in Brooklyn NY:

- Summer Spanish camp for ages 2-4 with full-day (9am-3pm) and half-day (9am-12pm) programs available. Choose to attend 1, 2,3 or 5 days per week.

- Summer Spanish camp for ages 5-8 with full-day programs and extended day care until 6pm also available. Choose to attend 1, 2,3 or 5 days per week.

Based in Upstate New York's Adronidack Mountains, Pok-O-MacCready Camps provide traditional residential summer camps for boys and girls ages 6-16. Family-owned since 1905, Camp Pok-O-Moonshine for Boys and Camp MacCready for Girls provide a classic summer camp experience that mixes exciting adventures and new opportunities with great friends in a picturesque natural setting, creating life-long memories.
