Kent Place School:
Kent Place School, located in Summit, Union County, New Jersey (20 miles west of New York City), is an all-girls kindergarten through 12 independent college-preparatory day school (with a coeducational nursery and pre-kindergarten). The academic program at Kent Place challenges girls, inspires their love of learning and offers them the best education possible. Our curriculum emphasizes reading, writing and analytical skills through a broad course of study in math, sciences, technology and the humanities, enriched by experiences in the fine arts and athletics. Our faculty members are masters in their fields, passionate about sharing their knowledge and committed to working with students one-on-one. Global Travel at KPS:
Kent Place students have a number of opportunities for travel in Middle and Upper School. These experiences range from language and cultural immersion to student exchange and service learning options. Students view these experiences as life-changing and part of the process of preparing them to live as citizens of the world.

Community Service:
Kent Place has a strong tradition of commitment to community service, beginning with our youngest students in Primary School. Their recent projects have included collecting children’s hats, mittens and scarves during the holiday season and school supplies for the American Red Cross. More than 90 percent of Middle and Upper School students volunteer each year to support a variety of community efforts. They tutor children at the YMCA, work at area food banks, distribute food and clothing to the homeless in New York City, and serve in hospitals, on first aid squads and in soup kitchens.

Cassville Nursery

Located in Jackson in Ocean County, NJ, Cassville Nursery is Jackson's newest nursery school and extended day child-care center. Situated on Route 571 just north of the 528 intersection, we are conveniently located in the Cassville section of town. Infants and children up to the age of six years are welcome. Meals will be served family style. Diapers are included. A children's garden is planned as well.

The morning nursery school program is led by a certified teacher between 9 am and 11.30 am. We also offer extended day childcare, available daily between 6.30 am and 6.30 pm. We provide drop-in childcare, which is available as space permits. Twenty-four hours notice is appreciated. An enrollment form must be completed in advance. There is no fee charged to register.
