Lake House Academy, located in Flat Rock (near Asheville), North Carolina, is a private, therapeutic boarding school for girls ages 10 through 14. Programs are tailored to the developmental, social, emotional and academic needs of pre-adolescent and young adolescent girls with a focus on helping girls gain the skills they need to be successful in the home, at school and with friends.
Lake House Academy is located in Flat Rock near picturesque Asheville, in Henderson County, North Carolina in the Southern United States. The state borders South Carolina and Georgia to the south, Tennessee to the west and Virginia to the north.

Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from South Carolina and across the United States.In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).
TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.
We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.
With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.
We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.
Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

Located in Waynesboro, an independent city located within the confines of Augusta County, Virginia, Fishburne Military School is a military boarding school for boys in Grades 7-12. For 130 years, Fishburne Military School has aided young men to reach their full potential as scholars, athletes and individuals. Here, students develop lifelong skills in leadership and self-discipline. By virtue of our distinguished Leadership Training Program (FLTP) as part of recognized JROTC Cadet Program, FMS nominates qualified seniors to U.S. Military Service Academies.
In addition Fishburne offers students a rigorous college preparatory curriculum with college prepartion courses such as SAT and ACT as well as AP courses.

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina (within driving distance to Charlotte, Asheville, and Atlanta), Trails Carolina provides an individualized therapeutic wilderness program for troubled adolescents and struggling teens. Our intervention programs are designed for boys and girls ages 10-13, and 14-17.Trails was founded on the belief that traditional wilderness therapy could better serve the long-term needs of students and their families. Our clinically proven methods work exceptionally well with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Learning Difficulties, Low self-esteem, Substance abuse, and many other difficulties.

Located in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, The Webb School is a private boarding and day school for students in Grades 6-12.
