Our History:
In September of 1968, Calvary Baptist School began classes for kindergarten through sixth grade with 118 students. By 1973, all twelve grades were offered and CBS graduated its first senior class.
Foundations Christian Preschool was founded in the fall of 2005 with an initial enrollment of 21 preschool and kindergarten students, and has grown to an enrollment of over 125 students. Our total preschool through twelfth grade enrollment has grown from 218 in the fall of 2005 to approximately 390. Graduates from Calvary Baptist School are serving Christ throughout the world through a variety of means.
Our Purpose:
The purpose of CBS is to develop godliness of character and action in the lives of our students. We desire to be an extension of Christian homes and to reinforce the Biblical values taught at church and home.
Our students are expected to demonstrate self-discipline, high morals, good habits, respect for students and staff, responsibility, and a love of God and country. One of our main goals is to help our students meet their potential for Jesus Christ is every area.
The Bible, while not being the only textbook, will be taught and its principles will be the foundation for all other learning. We also provide an outstanding education in the core subject areas (math, science, English, history, and computers), along with a wide variety of electives.

Children’s Music Express® is a program for children and their grown-ups in Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery counties! We are dedicated to providing music, movement, yoga, and meditation classes and workshops for teachers, families, and caregivers with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary aged children, and children with autism, different abilities, and special needs. Philadelphia Private Schools for Dyslexia Learning Disabilities and Language-Based Special Education: Located in Abington in Montgomery County, PA, Center School is a non-profit, co-educational independent day school for children ages six to fourteen who have experienced difficulties with reading and language development. The majority of Center School classroom teachers are master's-educated, certified reading specialists. All our staff have been trained by Schools Attuned. Most students use school district buses to travel to and from Center School. Typically, school districts will provide transportation if their boundaries are within ten miles of Center School.
