The DePaul Catholic School:
The DePaul Catholic School located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a private, accredited, co-educational, Catholic school offering Kindergarten through Grade 8 programs. The De Paul Catholic School is an innovative urban elementary school dedicated to carrying out the legacy of St. Vincent de Paul by empowering students to be life-long learners, leaders, and servants who buld the Kingdom of God.
The current site of DePaul Catholic was originally St. Francis of Assisi Parish School, built in 1966. In 1986, due to a declining Catholic population in the Germantown area, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia combined St. Francis of Assisi, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Madeline Sophie Schools to form St. Martin de Porres Interparochial School.
In the spring of 2009, the Pastors and Administration were granted permission from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to change the name of the school from Saint Martin de Porres Interparochial School to The DePaul Catholic School. The reason behind the most recent change was to a) Avoid inevitable confusion between Saint Martin de Porres (24th and Lehigh) and Saint Martin of Tours (Northeast Philadelphia), and b) to embrace the traditions of our Vincentian roots. Although we will certainly miss our beloved St. Martin de Porres, the students, faculty, and staff of The DePaul Catholic School will be sure to incorporate the spirit of St. Martin throughout its halls each and every day!

The Academy of International Ballet, located in the borough of Media in Delaware County PA, 12 miles west of Philadelphia, provides the finest ballet and dance training in the tri-state area.
