Located in University City in the western section of Philadelphia City in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, The University of Pennsylvania's Startalk Intensive Urdu Language High School Summer Program is a 3-week program with places for 20 high school students entering grades 9-12 in Fall or undergraduate students. The program is taught by distinguished Penn faculty members who are experts in their fields. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and is one of the most critical languages for understanding the Afghanistan-Pakistan region.

Students will receive official University of Pennsylvania transcripts, 1 credit transferable to any university in the US, will have a head start on gaining advanced proficiency in Urdu, and in many cases students can apply for 1-4 year full college tuition scholarships based on their commitment to studying Urdu.

The University of Pennsylvania's Startalk Intensive Urdu Language High School Summer Program:
The University of Pennsylvania's Startalk Intensive Urdu Language High School Summer program is open to all skill levels (beginner, intermediate & advanced) & is meant for high school students entering grades 9-12 in Fall or undergraduate students.

- 3 week program
- Monday - Friday 9am-4pm
- Prior knowledge of the language is not a prerequisite
- A standards-based curriculum, high quality learning materials, and a range of activities and projects are employed to maximize students' acquisition of Urdu linguistic skills, as well as gain familiarity with the cultural knowledge needed to successfully engage in meaningful interactions.
- Program includes daily snacks and lunches, and learning materials.

Rock & Roll After School, Collegeville PA

Located in Montgomery County PA (just 40 minutes north of Philadelphia), Rock & Roll After School provides 1-week Summer Music Camps for boys and girls ages 7-17. Lessons are held each day with kid grouped by age and ability. Previous music experience is not necessary, and students don't have to play an instrument to join up!

During our week of music-related fun, campers form bands to compose an original song, perform in front of friends and family, jam with each other, take part in activities & excursions, and more.

Our mission is to provide a fun, upbeat, nurturing environment for young children to explore music. We want children to leave our camps happy, stimulated, and excited about self expression through music.

Sanford Camps at Sanford School, Hockessin
Courses / Programs
Sanford Camps offer Day Camps, Extended Day Camps and Sports Camps for kids ages 4 to 14 years in Hockessin and North Wilmington, DE. All of our camps are available at Sanford School in Hockessin, and the extended day camp is also offered at St. Mary Magdalene School in Wilmington.

With our flexible schedule (2 week minimum), beautiful campus (air conditioned classrooms and on site pool), multiple extended care locations (throughout the county) and academic opportunities (with Sanford school) we offer parents an easy option for summer child care.

All campers experience a varied schedule that includes swimming, art, dance, computers, tennis and ball games. Schedules are adapted to the ages of the children; always putting the children in an experience in which they can be successful. Field trips, scheduled every week, add to the variety of experience for the children.
Summer Camps for Children 4-14 years:

Day Camp for Kids:
- 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m
- 2 to 10 week options (not necessarily consecutive)
- 3rd week in June to the 3rd week in August.

Extended Day Camp:
- 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Available in Hockessin & North Wilmington
